Just as profit is generated when commodities and information travel through distribution networks, wires, and fiber optic cables, nourishment flows through digestive systems to become experience, consciousness, and matter.

The exhibition Amorphous Solid investigates the blurred boundary between an omnipresent economic system and a permeable bodily organism. It explores the vast amounts of personal data we generate and share, and how tech companies collect and profit from this information. The glass objects on display originate from 3D scans of body parts, which were abstracted and transformed into anthropomorphic forms using digital software. This process serves as an experimental abstraction of both body and data, rematerializing them into sculptural objects. The work aims to reposition these glass sculptures as tangible entities in our physical reality, providing a material reflection on the digital mechanisms and premises from which they arise.
